How My Journey Led Me Here (and Why I’m So Passionate About This Work!)

I’m so glad you're here and curious about my story!

After 20+ years in HR, leadership, and consulting, I realized my true passion wasn’t just helping organizations—it was helping individuals find clarity, heal emotionally, and live more authentically. So, in 2021, I took a bold step: I left a successful corporate career to follow my dream of becoming a therapist. By 2024, that dream became a reality with the opening of Cove Counselling & Psychotherapy.

I believe that change starts with reflection, embracing challenges, and taking small, intentional steps toward healing. Whether you’re navigating a life transition, reconnecting with yourself, or facing relationship struggles, I’m here to walk alongside you. The journey may not be easy, but you don’t have to do it alone.

As a wife, mother, and therapist, I understand how overwhelming life can feel when you’re juggling so many roles. Parenting, relationships, careers—balancing it all is tough. But you know what’s tougher? Your strength, resilience, and ability to grow through it all.

When I’m not working with clients or hanging out with my business partner (Chief Pawsitivity Officer, Kona the Vizsla), you’ll find me reading, cooking healthy meals, cheering on my daughters, or getting in a quick workout.

I believe true well-being isn’t just one thing—it’s the small, daily practices that add up. Therapy is just as essential as visiting your dentist or chiropractor, and I’m here to help normalize the process in a world that often overlooks it.
